| So, you've checked out the station, and you want to get involved. Thats good!
You'll need to know what to submit. We will accept anything technology-related. Therefore it doesn't have to be
purely PC based. If you want to come and talk about how a UMTS mobile fone system will
work for eg, thats fine! The only rule is that you have to know what you are talking
about. And thats a pretty big rule. You will not be allowed on here if
the management think you're bluffing!
We will never refuse anyone a slot on this show
because we do not agree with their views. This is the FREE net radio station - it's your
station.
A few people I have spoken to
have been worried that various law enforcement agencies may come after them if they
came on the show and spoke about their specialist areas (DeCSS for eg). Do not worry about this. Firstly, this site & station is
hosted in the UK (as per the disclaimer at the bottom of this page), where we are
garanteed the right to free speech without fear of prosecution. Secondly, if you are still
concerned, we can arrange a completely anonymous exchange of info, so you will be
protected at all times. Contact us if you want to contribute, but have this problem.
If you are unable to come on the shows for some
reason, but still want to contribute, then feel free to pass us information. You may do
this by sending an email to submissions@thehavok.co.uk.
We will be happy to recieve your links & .txt files, any format.
You are not limited to providing submissions for the
shows themselves! If you have some skill or resource you think we could use (asp coding,
ftp space etc), then get in touch.
Don't worry about technical details, or if your system
is powerful enough to get you on the show. Just get in touch, and we'll sort out the rest.
